Records should remain understandable, reviewable, and accessible whenever practical.
Rule 4: Preserve Traceability
Relationships among records should support investigation, review, and verification.
Rule 5: Preserve Corrections
Corrections should remain visible and connected to original records whenever practical.
Rule 6: Preserve History
Historical records should not be silently removed when trust-related context depends upon them.
Rule 7: Separate Trust and Truth
Attestor documents information relevant to trust. It does not claim authority over truth.
Rule 8: Support Interoperability
Trust-related records should be capable of interacting with other systems without losing context.
