The scope of Attestor defines the responsibilities, boundaries, and limitations of the trust layer within the Satoshium ecosystem.

Attestor focuses on trust-related information. It does not replace identity, verification, records, discovery, or historical preservation systems.

Within Scope

Attestations, trust signals, evidence relationships, source relationships, accountability records, reputation context, corrections, and trust-related frameworks.

Identity Context

Attestor may reference identities maintained by Anchor, but identity creation and management remain outside Attestor's primary responsibility.

Verification Context

Attestor may reference verification outcomes, but certification and verification remain the responsibility of Certifier.

Historical Context

Attestor may use historical information, but historical preservation remains the responsibility of Chronicle.

Discovery Context

Attestor may reference discovery information, but search and discovery functions remain the responsibility of Beacon.

Record Context

Attestor may reference structured records, but record management remains the responsibility of Registry.

Data Context

Attestor may reference data and jurisdiction intelligence, but data collection remains the responsibility of Atlas.

Query Context

Attestor may benefit from future query systems, but query orchestration remains the responsibility of Navigator.

What Attestor Does Not Do

Attestor does not determine objective truth, act as a legal authority, replace independent judgment, or provide final conclusions regarding trustworthiness.
