Beacon is the Suite institution for discovery and signals. It helps users locate and interpret information across Satoshium systems while preserving institutional authority, attribution, traceability, and context.
Interoperability allows Beacon to publish Discovery Signals and discovery metadata that reference authoritative objects maintained by other Suite institutions without transferring or duplicating their authority.
Beacon may discover authoritative intelligence and related references originating from Atlas. Atlas remains authoritative for the intelligence it publishes; Beacon preserves references and discovery context without assuming Atlas authority.
Navigator owns workflow definition and orchestration. Beacon may participate in Navigator-directed workflows by performing discovery and returning Discovery Signals or discovery metadata through stable references.
Beacon may surface references to Certification Packages and related verification information maintained by Certifier. Certifier retains certification and verification authority; Beacon does not independently certify referenced material.
Beacon may discover SREG records and related metadata maintained by Registry. Registry remains authoritative for registered records and their lifecycle state.
Beacon may help users locate Chronicle Entries and preserved historical context. Chronicle retains authority over its historical record; Beacon provides discovery references rather than reproducing Chronicle authority.
Beacon may discover Integrity References maintained by Anchor and Trust Statements maintained by Attestor. Each institution retains authority over its canonical objects; Beacon provides discovery and reference context only.
Interoperability improves discovery while preserving responsibility within the institution that owns each authoritative object. A Beacon reference does not transfer, replace, or duplicate the authority of the source institution.
