# Final Satoshium Suite Architecture Matrix

**Date:** September 30, 2026
**Phase:** V — Final Reconciliation, Ratification & Close
**Step:** 51 — Produce the Final Satoshium Suite Architecture Matrix
**Status:** COMPLETE — APPROVED

---

## Purpose

This record supersedes the September 25 Institutional Architecture Matrix as the **final reconciled Suite-wide architecture matrix**.

The September 25 matrix remains preserved as the Phase I baseline. This final matrix incorporates all approved clarifications, semantic distinctions, authority boundaries, lifecycle rules, and adversarial-review findings established during September 26–30.

The governing rule remains:

> **Each institution must retain a distinct role, bounded authority domain, defined canonical responsibility, and non-transferable institutional identity.**

---

# Formal Suite Roster

The formal Satoshium Suite consists of exactly eight institutions:

```text
Atlas
Navigator
Certifier
Registry
Chronicle
Anchor
Beacon
Attestor
```

All eight are:

> **Operational**

Aegis remains:

> **External / Pre-Suite**

# Canonical Object Ownership

```text
Atlas
→ Jurisdiction Intelligence Package
Navigator
→ Navigator Workflow Definition
Certifier
→ Certification Package
Registry
→ Satoshium Registry Entry (SREG)
Chronicle
→ Chronicle Entry
Anchor
→ Integrity Reference
Beacon
→ Discovery Signal
Attestor
→ Attestation
→ Trust Statement
```

Supporting structures do not become competing canonical objects merely because they are named.

---

# Supporting / Non-Canonical Structures

## Atlas

```text
Jurisdiction Intelligence Record
→ conceptual / legacy wording
→ not a separate canonical object
```

The governed package may include:

```text
Evidence Layer
Signal Layer
Trust Dimensions
Profile
Builder Mode
Topology Metadata
Change Log
```

These remain package components or supporting structures.

---

## Navigator

```text
Workflow Orchestration
→ institutional function
→ not a canonical object
Workflow-local state
→ coordination state
→ not canonical institutional lifecycle state
```

---

## Certifier

```text
Certification Decision
→ contained determination
→ not a separate canonical object
SCPR / SCR / SCRD
→ subordinate certification artifacts / representations
```

---

## Registry

```text
Registry Record Type
→ classification
Registry metadata
→ supporting Registry structure
Registry Record
→ generic / legacy shorthand where encountered
```

The formal canonical term remains:

```text
Satoshium Registry Entry (SREG)
```

---

## Chronicle

```text
Occurrence
→ subject of preservation
→ not a canonical object
Historical representation
→ representation of Chronicle Entry
→ not a second canonical object
```

---

## Anchor

```text
Integrity Subject
→ protected-subject definition
→ Source Artifact Identity
 + Canonical Representation
 + Representation Boundary
Verification Result
→ controlled result
→ not a canonical object
```

---

## Beacon

```text
Discovery Metadata
→ governed supporting structure
→ not a second canonical object
trust signal
→ legacy / non-canonical terminology
```

---

## Attestor

```text
Evaluation Outcome
→ controlled result
→ not a canonical object
Evaluation Basis
→ governed evaluation structure
→ not a canonical object
```

Attestor's canonical object families remain:

```text
Attestation
Trust Statement
```

---

# Institutional Authority Boundaries

## Atlas

Atlas is authoritative for the governed jurisdiction intelligence it produces.

Atlas does not become:

```text
Certification authority
Registration authority
Historical-preservation authority
Integrity authority
Discovery authority
Attestor evaluation authority
```

> **Atlas provides authoritative intelligence where applicable; it is not a universal prerequisite or Suite-wide superior authority.**

---

## Navigator

Navigator governs workflow structure and coordination.

It does not inherit participating institutions' authority.

> **Navigator coordinates. Participating institutions decide and act.**

And:

> **Workflow-local state ≠ canonical institutional state.**

---

## Certifier

Certifier governs certification.

```text
Suite Standards
→ define expectations
Suite Methodology
→ defines shared implementation approach
Certifier
→ performs certification
```

Certifier does not own Suite Standards or Suite Methodology.

---

## Registry

Registry governs SREG creation, identity, classification, and Registry-controlled publication.

> **Registration does not transfer source authority.**

The source institution continues to own the registered source object.

---

## Chronicle

Chronicle governs the Chronicle Entry and the historical representation it creates.

It does not become authoritative for another institution's substantive source object or current source state.

> **Historical preservation ≠ source authority.**

---

## Anchor

Anchor governs integrity of the exact protected representation within the declared Representation Boundary.

It does not establish:

```text
truth
certification
whole-package integrity unless expressly defined
source meaning
trust authority
```

> **Integrity is bounded to the representation actually protected.**

---

## Beacon

Beacon governs discovery and signaling.

It does not become:

```text
Verifier
Certifier
Registry
Historical authority
Integrity authority
Attestor trust authority
Source authority
```

> **Discovery ≠ Determination.**

---

## Attestor

Attestor governs:

```text
Eligibility under Attestor rules
Attestations
Evaluation Basis
Rule-Constrained Evaluation
Evaluation Outcomes
Trust Statements
```

It does not gain universal truth, certification, registration, source, or generalized scoring authority.

The mature Attestor path remains:

> **Eligible Governed Inputs → Attestation → Rule-Constrained Evaluation → Trust Statement**

---

# Authority and Provenance

The final Suite-wide distinction is:

```text
Authority
→ who governs, owns, decides, or is institutionally responsible
Provenance
→ where information originated and how it was obtained, moved, transformed, or preserved
```

Therefore:

> **AUTHORITY ≠ PROVENANCE**

And:

> **REFERENCE DOES NOT TRANSFER AUTHORITY**

---

# Relationship Vocabulary

The controlled relationship vocabulary remains:

```text
references
derived-from
supports
evaluates
results-in
supersedes
corrects
related-to
```

These relationship types remain distinct.

```text
Reference ≠ Derivation
Reference ≠ Support
Evaluates ≠ Results-In
Supersedes ≠ Corrects
Connection ≠ Identity
```

No relationship silently transfers institutional authority.

---

# Inputs and Outputs Are Relationships, Not Authority Transfers

An output from one institution may become an input to another.

That does not transfer ownership.

Example:

```text
Certification Package
        ↓ referenced by
Registry
        ↓
SREG
```

Registry owns the SREG.

Certifier continues to own the Certification Package.

Likewise:

```text
Discovery Signal
        ↓ referenced by
Attestor
```

does not make Attestor the owner of the Discovery Signal.

Therefore:

> **Input use ≠ authority transfer.**

---

# Lifecycle / Publication / Status Architecture

The final Suite-wide lifecycle distinction remains:

```text
Canonical Creation
≠ Lifecycle Activation
≠ Publication
```

The governing rule is:

> **CREATION DEFINES EXISTENCE. ACTIVATION DEFINES OPERATIVE STATE. PUBLICATION DEFINES ACCESSIBILITY.**

The following dimensions remain distinct:

```text
Institutional Status
Lifecycle State
Publication State
Validation Result
Conformance Result
Verification State
Evaluation Outcome
Certification Outcome
Eligibility Determination
```

And:

```text
Created ≠ Active
Active ≠ Published
Published ≠ Valid
Published ≠ Conformant
Published ≠ True
Published ≠ Supported
```

---

# Validation / Evaluation / Conformance / Eligibility

The final distinctions remain:

```text
Eligibility
→ admission determination
Validation
→ determination against applicable institutional requirements
Conformance
→ determination against an explicit requirement set
Evaluation
→ governed application of rules, criteria, and evidence
Evaluation Outcome
→ result of Evaluation
Trust Statement
→ bounded canonical Attestor conclusion
```

Therefore:

```text
Eligibility ≠ Validation
Validation ≠ Conformance
Validation ≠ Evaluation
Evaluation ≠ Evaluation Outcome
Evaluation Outcome ≠ Trust Statement
NOT-TESTED ≠ PASS
```

---

# Verification / Certification

```text
Verification
→ evidence / reference / correspondence checking
Certification
→ Certifier-governed certification determination
```

Therefore:

> **Verification ≠ Certification**

---

# Correction / Versioning / Supersession

The final semantics remain:

```text
Correction ≠ Version
Correction ≠ Deletion
Supersession ≠ Mutation
Changed Conclusion = Changed Canonical Statement
```

A material semantic change may require a new canonical identity.

For Attestor:

```text
Materially changed assertion
→ new Attestation
Changed Trust Statement conclusion
→ new Trust Statement identity
```

---

# Conceptual Sequence and Dependency

The Suite may be described conceptually in a sequence, but:

```text
Conceptual Sequence
≠ Mandatory Production Pipeline
```

And:

```text
Exercised Lineage
≠ Mandatory Architecture
```

The first production lineage remains:

```text
SC-CERT-2026-0001
→ SREG-2026-0001
→ CHR-2026-0001
→ ANCH-2026-0001
→ BEAC-2026-0001
→ ATT-2026-0001
→ TRST-2026-0001
```

This demonstrates real governed relationships without requiring every future workflow to follow the same path.

---

# Operational Status

All eight formal institutions are:

```text
Operational
```

The completed Suite is therefore:

```text
8 formal institutions
8 operational institutions
```

No formal Suite institution is currently classified as Development.

---

# Aegis Boundary

Aegis remains:

```text
External / Pre-Suite
```

Aegis may remain historically important and architecturally relevant to the broader Satoshium ecosystem.

It is not one of the eight formal Suite institutions.

---

# Legacy SYS-* Boundary

```text
SYS-*
→ Legacy / Pre-Suite Platform System Index
SREG-*
→ Formal Satoshium Registry object family
```

Therefore:

> **SYS ≠ SREG**

---

# Legacy Layer Models

Legacy models such as:

```text
Trust Layer
Knowledge Layer
Intelligence Layer
Signal Layer
Agent Layer
Simulation Layer
Interface Layer
AI Platform Layer
```

may remain historically or conceptually useful.

They are not the current formal Suite institutional architecture.

The final institutional matrix takes precedence for current Suite descriptions.

---
