Certification Receipts

Certification Receipts are concise public verification artifacts generated from a canonical Certification Package. They summarize what was certified, when the certification occurred, which Suite Standards and Suite Methodology applied, and where supporting records can be found.

Within Certifier, the receipt is the public-facing confirmation layer. It does not replace the Certification Package, Certification Process Report (SCPR), or Certified Record (SCRD); it provides a concise confirmation that directs users back to the authoritative certification record.

Verification Role

Public Summary

Receipts allow a user to confirm that a certification occurred without reading the full Certification Package. They are designed for quick public review while preserving links to deeper evidence, reports, and records.

Generated From Package

Derived Artifact

Receipts are generated from the Certification Package. The Certification Package remains Certifier's authoritative operational record, while the receipt provides a concise public confirmation of the certification event and its supporting record chain.

Receipt Flow

A receipt is generated after Certifier completes the certification workflow by applying Suite Standards and Suite Methodology, organizing evidence, creating the Certification Package, completing the evaluation, and issuing the certification decision.

Standards define expectations. Methodology defines the process. The Certification Package preserves the canonical record. The receipt provides the concise public confirmation that certification occurred.

Receipt Role

Certification Receipts are not independent certification decisions. They are public verification artifacts generated from Certifier's canonical records so that certifications can be referenced, shared, indexed, and independently confirmed across the Satoshium Suite.

Reports preserve reasoning. Certified Records preserve the result. Receipts provide the public confirmation path.

A receipt is not the whole certification; it is the public doorway into the record.
