Anchor · Integrity-Preservation Institution
Satoshium Anchor
Satoshium Anchor is the Suite institution responsible for preserving durable
Integrity References for authoritative artifacts and records.
Anchor records cryptographic and temporal integrity context without assuming authority over the artifact, its meaning, its certification, its historical interpretation, or any trust conclusion derived from it. Anchor is now operational with its first published Integrity Reference.
Purpose
Defines why Anchor exists, its canonical object—the Integrity Reference—and the institutional boundary between integrity preservation and Source authority.
Open Purpose →
Definitions
Defines Anchor's core terminology, including Authoritative Artifact, Canonical Representation, Representation Boundary, Integrity Reference, Integrity Value, Verification Material, and related state concepts.
Open Definitions →
Integrity Preservation
Defines how Anchor preserves enough cryptographic, temporal, signature, commitment, and representation context for later independent integrity review.
Open Integrity Preservation →
Anchoring Process
Defines the conceptual process from Source authority and representation selection through integrity generation, Integrity Reference construction, publication, preservation, and later Verification.
Open Anchoring Process →
Integration
Defines how Anchor relates reciprocally to Atlas, Certifier, Registry, Chronicle, Beacon, Attestor, Navigator, and external Sources without absorbing their authority.
Open Integration →
Standards
Defines the standards hierarchy governing Anchor-specific requirements, rules, procedures, schemas, Controlled Values, and production Integrity References.
Open Standards →
Governance
Defines how Anchor governs its own identifiers, methods, schemas, verification, publication, lifecycle, Versioning, Corrections, Maintenance, and future commitment mechanisms.
Open Governance →
Identities
Defines identity and attribution references used in integrity operations while preserving the distinction between attribution and identity authority.
Open Identities →
Claims
Defines how Anchor may preserve the integrity of claim artifacts without becoming the authority for the meaning or truth of the claim.
Open Claims →
Attestations
Defines how Anchor may preserve attestation-artifact integrity while Attestor or another Source institution remains authoritative for the attestation itself.
Open Attestations →
Reputation
Defines integrity preservation for reputation-related artifacts without turning Anchor into a reputation-scoring or reputation-authority system.
Open Reputation →
Trust
Defines integrity preservation for trust-related artifacts while keeping trust judgments and Trust Statements outside Anchor's authority.
Open Trust →
Status
Provides Anchor's current operational stage, canonical object, technology position, first published Integrity Reference, and next institutional development priorities.
Open Status →
FAQ

Identifiers
Defines what an Anchor Identifier identifies, how it differs from Source-System Identifiers, and how stable Anchor identity supports Versioning, relationships, and publication.
Open Identifiers →
Controlled Values
Defines Anchor's governed vocabularies for Integrity Method, Integrity State, Verification Result, Publication State, Lifecycle State, Representation Type, and related categories.
Open Controlled Values →
Relationships
Defines machine-readable connections among Integrity References, Source Artifacts, Versions, Corrections, superseding records, Verification evidence, Publication representations, and external commitments.
Open Relationships →
Provenance
Defines where integrity material came from and how the Source Artifact became the Canonical Representation and then an Anchor Integrity Reference.
Open Provenance →
Schemas
Defines Anchor's machine-readable Schema Architecture, including the Integrity Reference Base Schema in Markdown and JSON Schema.
Open Schemas →
Integrity Verification
Defines how Anchor reconstructs or validates integrity material, compares expected and observed evidence, and records a governed Verification Result.
Open Verification →
Validation
Defines formal PASS/FAIL institutional Validation for Integrity References, including identity, Source, representation, provenance, relationships, Versioning, Corrections, Verification readiness, and Publication readiness.
Open Validation →
Lifecycle
Defines the lifecycle of the Integrity Reference itself—draft, active, superseded, withdrawn, and archived—separate from the Source Artifact's lifecycle.
Open Lifecycle →
Versioning
Defines when change remains a new Anchor Version of the same Integrity Reference and when a changed integrity subject requires a new Anchor Identifier.
Open Versioning →
Corrections
Defines how Anchor repairs Anchor-owned errors, distinguishes Source changes from Anchor Corrections, and preserves correction lineage under the rule: Correct forward. Preserve backward.
Open Corrections →
Publication
Defines the formal Publication Gate, canonical HTML and JSON, publication timestamps, human/machine consistency, Version visibility, and the boundary of public Anchor authority.
Open Publication →
Maintenance
Governs post-publication integrity operations including Source-link health, Reverification, algorithm and key health, external commitments, Corrections, Versions, and long-term preservation.
Open Maintenance →
Production Procedures
Turns Anchor architecture into executable institutional workflows for Integrity Reference production, Validation, Verification, Corrections, Publication, and Maintenance.
