Evidence is the factual foundation used by Satoshium Certifier when applying Suite Standards and Suite Methodology to a certification subject.
Evidence supports the Certification Package, informs evaluation and the certification decision, and remains traceable through the Certification Process Report, Certification Receipt, Certified Record, Registry Entry, historical records, integrity references, and future Attestation Records.
Suite Standards → Suite Methodology → Certifier Workflow →Evidence Records (SEV) preserve the factual materials considered during certification, including source references, observed facts, reviewer notes, screenshots, hashes, reports, metadata, supporting documentation, and other materials associated with the Certification Package.
The Evidence Inventory identifies and organizes the Evidence Records associated with a Certification Subject. It becomes part of the Certification Package and preserves the complete set of materials available for evaluation.
Evidence Mapping connects Evidence Records to applicable Suite Standards requirements, Suite Methodology steps, findings, limitations, confidence posture, and the resulting certification decision.
Evidence Review records what Certifier examined, accepted, limited, excluded, or could not verify, and explains how the available evidence supported or constrained the evaluation and certification decision.
Hashes, timestamps, file references, and preserved URLs help support future integrity checks and provide source material for Anchor references when appropriate.
Evidence that supported a certification may remain historically important even after a certification expires, changes, is superseded, or is revoked.
Evidence does not create or replace certification judgment. Suite Standards define the expectations to be evaluated. Suite Methodology defines the review process. Certifier organizes, maps, and evaluates the evidence, then records how it supports the findings, limitations, confidence posture, and certification decision preserved within the Certification Package.
Evidence enters Certifier as preserved source material, is organized into Evidence Records and an Evidence Inventory, mapped to governing requirements, and evaluated within the Certification Package before generated artifacts and Suite-ready references are issued.
