Governance
Governance explains how Satoshium Certifier is maintained as the Suite’s operational certification implementation while remaining aligned with Suite Standards, Suite Methodology, and the broader Satoshium certification ecosystem.
Certifier governance does not define Suite-wide certification rules by itself. It preserves operational consistency, version control, record integrity, and responsible maintenance for the certification artifacts Certifier produces.

Suite Standards define certification expectations and Suite Methodology defines the certification process. Certifier governance ensures that Certifier pages, records, templates, and outputs remain aligned with those governing layers.

Certification pages, schemas, templates, artifact formats, evidence models, and operational references should be versioned or preserved when substantive changes occur.
RequiredRecord Preservation
Certifier favors preservation over deletion. Superseded, expired, revoked, archived, or replaced certification materials should remain reviewable whenever practical.

Certification decisions should be traceable to certification subject, scope, governing standards, methodology, evidence, findings, assessment, and the canonical Certification Package.

Governance Role
Governance is the operational stewardship layer of Certifier. It does not replace Suite Standards, Suite Methodology, evidence, reports, receipts, Registry entries, or attestations. It explains how Certifier’s implementation should remain coherent, maintainable, and historically reviewable.
Certifier may evolve, but its records should remain understandable. Governance protects that
continuity by preserving the relationship between decisions, evidence, artifacts, and Suite
references.
