🧭 Atlas Certification Profile
The Atlas Certification Profile defines the characteristics of Satoshium Atlas records that are evaluated during certification under the Satoshium Suite.
The Profile does not replace the Suite Standards, Suite Methodology, or Atlas Certification Framework. It identifies the evaluation surfaces that make Atlas records reviewable, traceable, and certifiable.
Purpose
The Atlas Certification Profile identifies what must be examined when an Atlas record is submitted for certification. It creates a consistent evaluation lens for Atlas records without redefining the records themselves.
Profile Role
The Profile functions beneath the Atlas Certification Framework. The Framework explains how Atlas participates in certification; the Profile identifies the record characteristics evaluated within that process.

Profile Boundary
The Profile is not a scoring rubric, registry model, evidence rulebook, or certification decision. It is the defined set of Atlas attributes that reviewers, tools, and certification workflows examine.
Evaluation Domains
Atlas certification evaluates a record through a defined set of profile domains. These domains allow different Atlas records to be reviewed consistently while preserving the specific content and structure of each record type.
Identity
Confirms the record's canonical name, jurisdiction, record type, repository path, public location, version reference, and relationship to the Atlas record family.
Structure
Evaluates whether required Atlas artifacts are present, organized consistently, and aligned with the expected record architecture.
Metadata
Reviews supporting metadata such as identifiers, dates, record state, source references, classification fields, update history, and machine-readable descriptors.
Evidence
Examines whether claims made within the Atlas record are supported by documented evidence, source references, and preserved evaluation material.
Traceability
Determines whether record conclusions can be traced back to source material, evidence files, signal definitions, trust dimensions, and change-log entries.
Trust Dimensions
Reviews whether the record identifies and explains the trust dimensions used to evaluate jurisdictional readiness, transparency, stability, or reliability.
Signals
Evaluates whether Atlas signals are documented, internally consistent, evidence-derived, and aligned with the relevant jurisdiction record.
Currency
Reviews whether the record reflects an identifiable update state, preserved change history, and certification-relevant freshness context.
Completeness
Assesses whether required Atlas files, references, explanations, and evaluation materials are present for the record type being certified.
Reproducibility
Determines whether another reviewer or Suite tool could reconstruct the certification evaluation from the preserved Atlas materials and certification package outputs.

Atlas certification profile review must preserve institutional boundaries across the Suite.
- The Profile identifies evaluation characteristics; it does not issue certification decisions.
- Atlas owns the underlying intelligence record and supporting artifacts.
- Certifier owns the certification process and resulting Certification Package.
- Registry catalogs resulting certified records through Registry Entries.
- Chronicle preserves certification events, not the Atlas record itself.
- Beacon publishes discovery signals derived from certified outputs.
- Anchor preserves integrity references associated with certified artifacts.
Profile Versioning
The Atlas Certification Profile may evolve as Atlas record families mature. Certifications should identify the Profile version used during evaluation so future reviewers can understand the evaluation lens applied at the time of certification.

Profile Philosophy
Atlas records are not certified merely because they exist. They are certified when their identity, evidence, structure, traceability, trust signals, and preserved record state can be evaluated consistently under the Satoshium Suite certification architecture.
