ATLAS · CERTIFICATION SCOPE

🧭 Atlas Certification Scope

The Atlas Certification Scope defines the certification boundary for Satoshium Atlas by identifying which Atlas artifacts participate in certification under the Satoshium Suite.

The Scope does not replace the Suite Standards, Suite Methodology, or Atlas Certification Framework. It establishes the institutional boundary of what is, and is not, evaluated during Atlas certification.

Purpose

The Atlas Certification Scope establishes the certification boundary for Atlas by defining which Atlas artifacts are eligible for certification and which institutional records remain outside the Atlas certification process.

The Scope answers one primary question: what is included in Atlas certification?

Scope Role

The Scope complements the Atlas Certification Framework and Profile by defining the institutional boundary of Atlas certification.

Boundary Principle

Atlas certification evaluates Atlas records only. Operational records produced by other Suite systems are referenced, not certified by Atlas.

Institutional responsibility remains with the system that owns the record.

Included Within Scope

  • Jurisdiction Intelligence Engine (JIE)
  • Country & State records
  • Evidence
  • Metadata
  • Signals
  • Trust Dimensions
  • Change Logs
  • Canonical Atlas artifacts

Outside Scope

  • Registry Entries (SREG)
  • Chronicle Events
  • Anchor Integrity References
  • Beacon Discovery Metadata
  • Attestor Trust Statements
  • Navigator Workflows
  • Certification scoring
  • Suite governance documents

Scope Philosophy

Clear certification boundaries preserve institutional responsibility while enabling interoperability across the Satoshium Suite.

Atlas certifies Atlas. Registry catalogs. Chronicle preserves history. Anchor preserves integrity. Beacon publishes discovery. Attestor issues Trust Statements. Navigator orchestrates workflows.

Satoshium is being built slowly, in public, and with architectural discipline.
